As a Jacksonville native, there's nothing I enjoy more than finding new beautiful places to visit in my city. From finding perfect places for picnics to local restaurants to hidden bookstores, exploring Jacksonville never gets boring. There is always something exciting to do and this list are just a few of my personal favorites!
1. Bold Bean Coffee Roasters
Bold Bean Coffee Roasters located on Stockton Street (or their other location in Jacksonville Beach) never ceases to be the perfect place for cramped homework sessions, or just catching up with friends!
2. Picnic in Memorial Park
When the weather is right, this is the perfect spot! Memorial Park has a great view of not only the St. John's River, but the Life sculpture, too!

Far drive, but worth it!

Order the Fried Chicken and Waffle, you won't regret it.
6. The Museum of Contemporary Art
7. Deep Search Records
8. Chamblin's Uptown
Prepare to be lost in a labyrinth of books.
9. Jacksonville Landing
Whether it's a big concert for cheap, beautiful lights during Christmas time, or the spectacular show on the Fourth of July, there's always something going on!
10. Angie's Subs at Jax Beach
Order the Peruvian.
11. Jacksonville Beach
12. Chomp Chomp
This hidden gem of a restaurant located on Herschel Street never ceases to make anyone's mouth water.
13. Everbank Field
We may not have the best winning streak, but how can you not want to watch a game with a field like this?
14. Jacks Rabbit
This hole in the wall concert venue located on Hendricks is a great place to checkout some local bands!
