.) This move-in has been made possible from generous space contributions made by space bags like you, thank you.
.) (As the car is turning out of the neighborhood.) I really should have made a list so that I didn't forget anything.
.) (30 minutes into the car ride.) Are we there yet?
.) American highway system + the majority of my belongings in the car = a disaster for the car's suspension system.
.) (Passing car equally loaded with boxes and bags.) I wonder where they go to school.
.) (At IHOP.) Waitress: Do you want the chocolate chip pancakes or the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes? I want chocolate to be a modifier for my pancakes as many times as possible.
.) (Gets keys from landlord, spends five minutes trying to open the door unsuccessfully.) Good thing I'm not in the engineering school.
.) (Stuck in traffic on the way to Ikea, sitting in the backseat, stuffing my face with an M&M brownie when I make awkward eye contact with an attractive pedestrian.) Not my best first impression... but fairly accurate.
.) (In Ikea.) I wouldn't mind shopping with Joseph Gordon-Levitt right now.
.) (At the register.) The only six-pack in life I need is that six-pack of cinnamon buns.
.) (Loading the car.) How are we going to fit this sofa bed into a sedan?
.) (Two minutes later, crawling on to the folded down seats and frame of the sofa bed.) Should've been asking how are we going to fit this sofa bed and me into a sedan.
.) (On way back from Ikea, holding on to the frame of the sofa and trying not to hit my head on the car roof.) When I didn't think bumpy car rides got more uncomfortable...
.) (Assembling the Ikea furniture.) How many Lack side tables does one need to assemble before she can put "proficient in furniture assembly" on her resume?
.) (Eating pizza with my parents, sofa bed finally made.) I couldn't ask for better parents to help me move-in; a combination of their patience and 24 years of life in the military has definitely made them my moving company of choice.
