Jim Halpert is the love of my life, but unfortunately he's taken...and fictional. If he wasn't, though, he would be the perfect valentine. I'm sure of it, because
1. He is persistent, patient, and thoughtful.
2. He is respectful and and wouldn't overstep any boundaries that make you uncomfortable.
3. He is pretty darn funny and could make you smile and laugh all night long.
4. He is extremely attractive and adorable.
5. Jim is supportive...like really, really supportive.
No matter what your dreams are, you can bet your ass that Jim will be there encouraging you to follow your heart from the beginning.
6. And he's ambitious.
He works hard (when he isn't pranking and slacking off), and in the back of his mind he always has an idea of what his dreams are. He's not a lazy man with no aspirations. How boring would that be?
7. He's also spontaneous.
Out of the blue, when you least expect it, he may do something special...like propose.
8. He's a really good friend and will always provide a shoulder for you to lean on.
His friendship is like no other; he's always there for his friends when they need him and he always manages to cheer them up. Being your valentine would bring that to a whole new level!
9. He has the confidence to go after what he wants.
Imagine being what Jim Halpert wants. I'd drop dead of happiness to be honest.
10. He's sensitive.
Which is something that many men don't embrace. Jim doesn't hide his sensitivities, which makes him all the more attractive.
11. As your knight and shining armor, he'd have no problem getting you out of an event you didn't want to attend.
I would definitely take advantage of his mastery of leaving parties early.
12. He's very romantic.
The way he talks to and treats his special someone is always so adorable and heartfelt, and overall goal worthy. Take a mental picture of me, Jim. Tell me that I look just as you always imagined me looking. Draw me on your list of priorities with everything else in the world on the not-as-important side. Tell me I'm your everything.
