Jim Halpert and Pam Beasley: co-workers turned friends, turned everyone's favorite couple. The dynamic duo lovingly referred to by fans as "Jam," was easily the greatest part of "The Office." Even though their time at Dunder Mifflin came to a close in 2013, their love story is still the best example of "relationship goals" we have. Here are just a few reasons why…
1. They started as friends
At the beginning of their epic story, Jim and Pam were just really good friends. Jim, of course, always had a thing for her, but couldn't do anything because Pam was engaged to Roy… stupid Roy. The best relationships can grow out of solid friendships.
2. They have the same sense of humor
Throughout the show, Jim and Pam are always laughing when they were together (usually about Dwight). They managed to make a boring, lifeless office fun. There's nothing better than being around someone who can make you really laugh.
3. They can't stand being apart
When Jim leaves to go work at Stamford and dates Karen (bleh), the Scranton office just isn't the same. Jam can't be apart for too long.
4. They don't need much to be happy
In one of the most memorable scenes, Jim and Pam run away to get married under Niagara Falls in a private ceremony. They don't need a big, fancy wedding to show off their love. They know what is really important.
5. They like simplicity
Much like their wedding, Jim and Pam like to keep things simple. Jim proposes to Pam outside of a rest stop. The moment is so special because it is just between the two of them. When you enjoy each other's company, where you are doesn't matter.
6. They know it's all in the little things
"Not a bad day."
7. They support each other
Jam always gets excited for one another's accomplishments. Like when Pam won the Dundie for whitest sneakers. And on a more serious note, when Jim was always Pam's biggest supporter when it came to her art dreams.
8. They don't take life too seriously
Whenever one of them was going through something difficult, the other would always lighten the mood and make them smile.
9. Jim always knew Pam was special
"Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her."
10. They appreciate each other
Whether it was Jim's custom made comic book, or Pam's special teapot, the two always know how to show how much they care.
