If you’ve ever heard a song by American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo or featuring Jason Derulo, you’d know that he has a habit of starting off his songs by singing his own name. With his songs following this pattern, it made me wonder if his “Jason Derulo”s are only limited to his songs. Here are 11 times I REALLY hope Jason Derulo sings his own name.

(If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check it out here.)

1. Before he uses a urinal

Jason has to make sure everyone knows who they’re peeing next to. By singing his name right off the bat, he establishes his place in the bathroom environment.

2. Whenever he gets on a bus, train, or plane

Again, everyone must know that Jason Derulo has arrived on their mode of public transportation. Get ready for an exciting ride.

3. After Spongebob passes his boating exam

Jason is a big Spongebob fan and he’s always rooting for his bud. Spongebob’s been trying to get his boating license for forever and Jason couldn’t think of any better way to celebrate than by singing his own name.

4. When it’s finally his turn at the checkout counter

After a good snack run, Jason’s just trying to get home to enjoy some Fritos and dip. When he finally gets to the counter, there’s nothing left to do but let out a nice Jason Derulo.

5. At the top of a roller coaster hill

Jason likes to celebrate the high points in his life. What more of a high point will there ever be than at the top of a good roller coaster?

6. When he gets a text back

This is one of the most exciting things that can happen to anyone. After this, Jason gives himself a pat on the back and a celebratory Jason Derulo.

7. When there’s no line at Starbucks

The day after a long concert is always rough and when Jason’s headed out to get his Java Chip Frappuchino With Two Shots™, there is nothing better than not having to wait very long.

8. After finishing a good book

To stay cultured, Jason loves to read. After reading something that has truly moved him, Jason lets out a tasteful Jason Derulo.

9. When he spots a cute dog on the street

While walking down the street, there are few things more satisfying than coming across a cute dog. Bonus points if you get to pet it.

10. When his favorite baseball team scores a home run

As a huge Miami fan, it is all too exciting when one of the players scores a really good home run. Overjoyed, you know Jason sings a good Jason Derulo after.

11. After every rep at the gym

Jason’s working toward getting those gains and there’s nothing better to count the reps than a good Jason Derulo in between lifts.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
