For anyone who doesn't recognize the name James Charles, Google him and you will seriously be amazed. James Charles is a huge YouTube name and is most widely recognized for his beautiful makeup looks. He does crazy looks like Pennywise, a face full of tattoos and Halloween tutorials. He also does drag queen makeup, challenges, reviews and more. Additionally, he was CoverGirl's first-ever male spokesman.

Before watching a James Charles YouTube video, I never knew so much entertainment and humor could be packed into a small 15 minutes. He is so energetic and enthusiastic, and his passion for makeup really comes through in every video. The best part about watching James Charles is that it doesn't feel like I'm watching a celebrity. He talks openly about his life and mistakes he has made and how he's learned from them. He allows us to see that he is human whereas other celebrities only show the "perfect" sides of themselves.

My favorite James Charles video is called "Hate Comments Do My Makeup." Of course, hate comes with the territory of being an influencer and having almost 8 million followers. James Charles gets tons and tons of positive comments, but there are some negative ones to go along with them. In this video, James Charles takes all of his hate comments and follows them as a makeup tutorial. If I were getting the hate he was getting, I would curl up in a ball and cry and never make another video. Instead of taking this hate to heart, he turns it into something funny and entertaining for his viewers.

Another one of my favorite James Charles videos is "Singing My Makeup Routine." Did I mention that he is also a fabulous singer? He sings in multiple videos, but this one is different. As he's going through his makeup routine, someone behind the camera names different songs that he needs to sing while incorporating whatever step he's on of his routine. The first time I watched it, I was truly blown away. He was so quick on his feet and able to make up songs faster than I've ever seen.

At 19 years old, James Charles has moved to LA, partnered with multiple makeup companies, gained several millions of followers on Instagram and YouTube, started a clothing line and more. He is a prime example of how working hard and believing in yourself will allow you to reach your dreams. He shared a video explaining how it was a little difficult growing up being a boy who loved makeup and beauty. Well, after pushing through the hard times, he clearly succeeded.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
