Jacinto Convit❤ was a man of inspiration and objectives. Sadly, many people still do not know of him and his contributions to science.

Born in 1913 in Venezuela, Jacinto became a leading professional in his field as he was very passionate about helping others. He knew his purpose in life and never even asked for money when treating patients. Jacinto was a unique man, and his aspirations and consequently his discipline led him to achieve great successes. In 1940, two years after graduating Medical School in Caracas School & Andres Bello Lyceum, he began his teaching career and in 1950 was named the Head of the Dermatology Clinic.

No words can describe how marvelous of a person Jacinto was. For Jacinto, dedicating most of his life to his work was not enough, and he continued to find innovative ways of treating cancer until his death in 2013. That same year, at age 100, Jacinto published his last study.

Jacinto's death and 100 years did not come in vain, for he dramatically transformed the lives of many of his patients and anyone who knew him. With his discovery and creation of the vaccine against cancer and tropical diseases, Jacinto has certainly accomplished great feats.

"The Nobel Prize does not keep me from sleeping, the cure for cancer does."

Dedicating his entire life to helping others and helping them pursue their own happiness is something incredible for which Jacinto will always be remembered. Jacinto will always be remembered as a soul filled with love towards humanity within a body of wisdom, knowledge, and experience. The perfect combination of talent and work, Jacinto brings honor to Venezuela and humanity itself.

Jacinto was awarded for the Legion of Honor (in France), Prince of Asturias (Spain, and nominated for Nobel Prize in Medicine (1988).

Jacinto, a person who assured himself he would change the world for the better. His death brought sadness but overall, the joy of having been able to witness the audacity and illumination of such a master. Your words, actions, and cure for cancer in these fields will always be credited and used for the betterment of communities and the world.
