It’s almost the end of our last summer before the start of the new chapter. For the most of the college freshmen there is only a month left.
The summer started out with a beach trip with a group of friends. It was the first time for most of us to get that the new adult feeling and getting the chance to be on our own. It feels like yesterday we were on the beach soaking up the sun but in reality summers almost over.
In a blink of an eye you will be saying goodbye to everyone. All the people you are used to being able to call up or text to hang out will be on their next journey.
At this point we are all looking back and wondering where the last two months have gone, but we are all excited for the next path in life we have all chosen.
In the month you have left you need to realize that you should be doing all the things possible with the people you will miss the most. Do all those spontaneous swimming trips, bonfires, movie nights, and late night food runs that you have said you were going to do. Do all you can before the time runs out.
But to all who are reading this that are either at this time or will be in the next year, just cherish your time at home with your friends that have been there with you the last few years. The time will sneak up on you and it will be time to say see you soon.
To all my friends, I'll see you soon.
