Everyone always says, “enjoy the little things,” and you probably question why and what that truly means; well, in life there is always so much clutter and commotion that we do not realize how many little things in life truly make us happy. It can range from having a class cancelled to finding money on the floor. Many of us need to stop searching for the “big” things in life and notice the smaller ones because at the end of the day it’s the little ones that matter most. Here are eleven little things that are bound to make your day better.

1. Finding unexpected money in your pocket.

2. When the vending machine gives you a two for one special.

3. Buying something without realizing it's on sale.

4. Finding out you aced a test when you thought you failed.

5. Receiving a compliment on something you're wearing.

6. After you clean your room and finally find that shirt you've been looking for.

7. Hearing that your favorite movie is going to be on TV this week.

8. Winning something unexpectedly.

9. Getting into bed with new, clean sheets.

10. Finally eating the food you've been craving all week.

11. Showering after a long and stressful day.
