As wild, narcissistic, and absolutely ridiculous It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia can be, there are plenty of wise words spoken by the egotistical gang that we should all take into more consideration (and make sure to watch the show yourself to find all your own weird and outlandish quotes to inspire you).
1. "Everybody's dying bitch."
It's true: time is fleeting and we are all going eventually grow older and older until our inevitable death. However, that doesn't mean you should ignore your health and go your entire life without eating a peach or pear. Eat your fruits and vegetables, drink water, get enough sleep, and don't huff spray paint and eat cat food before bed.
2. "I'm not fat, I'm cultivating mass."
Loving your body is important, but also owning your body is important. Mac lost and gained 60 pounds in 3 months and he still loved his body, he still owned his body even when everyone around him was against him. Never listen to people who try to dictate what you look like. As long as you are comfortable and happy, no one else's opinions matter but your own. Love yourself and love your cultivating mass!
3. "Any amount of cheese before a date is too much cheese!"
This is just always true. Always. Don't eat cheese before a date. Just don't.
4. "There's probably gonna be some dicks out there. But I'll be there. I'll back you up man."
As selfish, vain, and self-centered the gang of 5 is, they are (almost) always there for each other. If the girl your buddy is obsessed with doesn't want anything to do with him, you try to help him get back on the dating scene. If your pal has a great idea to make profits grow, you make crow milk. If your friend needs help trying to look young and beautiful, you inject Mexican collagen into his face. That's just how true friendships work. No matter the ridiculous circumstance or idea they come up with, you have to be ready to stand by their side and say "hell yeah, we're gonna do this".
5. "Being comfortable in your own skin is never a bad thing."
Again: as long as you are comfortable and happy with yourself, the only opinion that matters is yours. Embrace your strangeness and quirks, understand that you are going to be different than everyone else. Someone is always going to think you're weird just for being a little different from them, and that is totally 100% okay! Some people like to try to make others feel bad or embarrassed because of their uniqueness, but you should embrace it and appreciate it! Your weirdness is what makes your different from everyone else in this weird world, you have to love yourself for that!
