Typically bars are the best place to hang out with friends and have a good time or even to look for a future date, however, my approach to going into a bar after work is to people watch until it's one or three in the morning and see everyone shuffle away. One of the best things about having someone you know as a bartender you never have to go threw the hassle of taking your I.D. out and finding a good place to get space or a seat but also that you have decided to stay sober and see every stranger loosen up and shift to a whole different person. My experiences range from being totally tame to just a story that, even told with absolute trust, little would find the strength to fully believe.

Recently around eleven I sat in my usual spot and my bar tender friend managed to save me a plate of food, I saw a group of girls standing and moving their bodies a bit to the music slowly getting more and more fun to dance to. Eating my meal, I see them get less shy as they take their shots while they're chanting and they look like they are sweating at this point; all the booty moves and arms in the air all that jazz just goes wild then a group of guys come over. So let's say it was about five girls and three guys, you can easily tell they're betting each other to talk to one with all the chest tapping and looking back and forth, one makes a move but it was a miss. The lady kind of just wiggles away and made a face then went back to smiling when reunited, the guys on the other hand don't stop and approach another gal from the group, she was playing with her hair and smiling but then it wasn't so clear but she rolled her eyes and walked away. this cycle continued for about four more times until one very drunk girl just shouted and danced in the middle of the circle of guys and stumbled to the bathroom. Basically, no full win for the guys but the seemed to have a good time regardless.

One time I was completely alone with no bar tender friend there to take me out an awkward situation, it was a little run down and it smelled weird but the place had nice colorful lights and Latino pop music which is a plus in my book. When entering the security is intimidating not even if you're with your I.D prepared and have a good attitude do they smile which made the place feel cold for a while. As soon as you make a left there are some booths and boy, people are going at it. I didn't know what to expect but people are making out to the point it looks like they are eating each others chins, I hope my eyes lied to me, but people seemed to be dry humping or at least having the most extreme lap dances ever. Facing the right is the bar and a hookah station even the bar tender ladies are smoking from it but it didn't seem to be much of an issue. These bar tenders were gorgeous and friendly but it got to a weird point when they would pass smoke from the hookah to customers, I personally can't smoke so I didn't understand if that's a thing to do.

In another place there was what I could say with certainty someone underage but it was too late to stop them from doing anything they were crawling from the dance spot to the doors outside, vomited, then sat next to said vomit and rested by the doors entrance until police showed up.

A worse story than that was when an actual child, around eight to ten ran into a bar looking for his parent. The boy just kept yelling out a name but didn't look scared or worried, more like tired and had that face of just wanting to go home. The bar did get shut down and police in riot gear were taking everyone's I.D. It was awful, and I even had a really big gun rub up against me. I don't know what type it was just that it felt heavy and that I got in trouble because I had such a baby face and had trouble finding my I.D card for a good minute or two. I know they couldn't shoot me for that but still it was scary, I was in another country too so I thought I was gonna get "deported" for that incident.

At the end of the day drinking is a popular activity and I am terrified of going out for drinks because of all the things other people have done.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
