She had just enough to feel a buzz and have a good time but not enough to where she would hate herself in the morning. Her friends were being lame and she wanted something else to do. That's when she remembered that she never responded to Jason. It's not like she was trying to ignore him, she was just having fun with her friends so texting him wasn't a big concern of hers. "Want to meet up after your shift?" She sent it not really caring if he wanted to or not but he was cute and maybe she would get free drinks out of it. She heard her phone buzz a few minutes later and checked to see if it was him.
"Yeah definitely, I am off around 2 so anytime around then should be good just let me know when you are here."
As she finished reading the text she got excited, then nervous, and then excited again. She waited for the right moment to say bye to her friends and then head to go meet him. During the drive there she started to freak out a bit. The only thing she really knew about this guy was that he worked at a bar, was kind of cute, and that his name was Jason. She of course did her social media stalking beforehand but was disappointed when she found him because everything was private. "He seemed nice so I should be fine," she thought. As she approached the bar she called him, she wouldn't get out of her car that way she could drive off if she needed to. When she saw him her heart dropped. "No going back now she," thought as he opened the door.
"Hey what's up, thanks for meeting me here," Jason said "I'm parked around back and we can figure things out from there I guess." He laughed nervously. "Not sure what we can do but I am up for whatever."
"Okay sounds good!" She drove around to the back and parked right next to him. They decided to just sit and talk in order to get to know each other. The first thing she noticed about him was that he was definitely handsome. But not in the way one would think. He had this awkwardness about him that made him seem sincere, and he also didn't know how attractive he was. After a while she noticed that she really hadn't said much. He was a talker, which didn't bother her at all. She enjoyed listening to him and even gave him a few pity laughs to try to make him feel more comfortable.
"I am so sorry," he said. "I've basically been talking this whole time, I kind of just ramble on so please feel free to stop me." He did his nervous laugh. "You are beautiful by the way, I feel like I should have said that earlier."
"Thank you," she said as she smiled. "And I don't mind listening honestly, you are quite entertaining. "
"Well that's good, but seriously tell me about yourself and start from anywhere," he replied.
"Oh man, alright well let's see," She said. She told him a lot about herself, and she felt like she could say tell him anything and he would accept her for it. He would make some douchey comment every now and again but what guy wasn't just a little bit of a tool. After a while she noticed how much time had passed and started to get hungry. "Hey you want to grab some food."
