You can procrastinate until the last minute, and still manage to get everything done.

What do Michael Jackson, Avril Lavigne, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Kevin Costner, Lana Del Rey, and character Kate Austen from Lost have in common! You guessed it, they are all ISFPs. ISFPs are adventurers and somewhat rare to find. They make great friends and are usually very detail-oriented. Here are some signs that you're an ISFP without taking a personality test:

1. You are generally happy to be who you are.

You're imaginative, passionate, charming, creative, curious, artistic, and sensitive to others. But overall, you're happy with yourself. You like yourself most of the time, which is great!

2. You can be overly competitive.

You let even the littlest things turn into an intense competition in your mind. You are super independent and can be fairly unpredictable.

3. You get easily stressed.

You live life in the moment. Which is great, until you get blindsided by a stressful situation that completely knocks you off your feet.

4. You don't like being forced into anything.

The best way to push your buttons is to try to force you to do something when you don't want to do it. You would rather come up with the idea to do something yourself than be told specifically to do it.

5. Relationships are important to you.

You really like to spend time with the people that you love, especially your significant other. You're the kind of person who will cancel their plans to stay home and take care of someone who needs the company or assistance.

6. You love being spontaneous, yet laid back.

Spontaneous road trips are your love language. You love getting in the car and just driving until you get somewhere. It's not about the destination, it's about the ride and the jam session.

7. You need your creative freedom.

You probably won't be happiest working a 9 to 5 job sitting in an office. You need a place that you can put your own ideas into practice and express yourself.

8. You can procrastinate until the last minute, and still manage to get everything done.

You will probably hate yourself for it. But then the next time a deadline is approaching, you will procrastinate all over again.

9. You are a good listener.

You are always down to listen to any and everything that someone needs to vent about or get advice about.

10. You are often labeled the "mom friend."

Your warm personality and caring nature is preparing you to be an excellent parent, and you unmeaningly practice this on all of your friends.

11. You are a "doer."

You like action. ISFPs would rather get up and go do something instead of sitting around and watching others do stuff.

12. You fidget. A lot.

If you have long hair and it isn't pulled back somehow, you are probably playing with it. No matter how hard you try, you suddenly find yourself twisting it AGAIN.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
