Is Partying Worth It In College?

So, during my high school years, I was really the type of kid that didn't go to most of the parties the "cool" Kids would throw at their houses when their parents were gone and I was pretty much only focused on school and really never had an interest on partying. That was me until I started college.

In college, you meet A LOT of new people some will just be acquaintances and some will be the truelong-lastingg friendships that you will for life, but something you all will have in common is going to parties and having fun.

As a male , it was really hard for me to go to fraternity parties since only females are allowed to go and males can only go if they're part of the or they someone in the fraternity that invited them and for my luck, I didn’t knew anyone in fraternities and would sometimes not party with friends

Now if you decide to have fun and go to parties while you're in school and have a ton go homework and class assignments, how all you even survive passing through your first semester in college ?, well good thing I am here to help. Here are some tips for before partying and while you're partying:

☆Never, never party if you still have assignments unfinished because, trust me you don't want to do them after you party and going to be tired af.

☆Make sure to do homework or assignments during free spaces throughout the day, like for example if you have a gap between classes do your work then so by the end of the day, all you have to worry about is what outfit to wear.

☆Make sure to make a nice schedule so you have time to focus and school and the personal fun (aka parties, lol).

☆Go with people you trust and you know that they get you home safe, because you always have to be alert on what uber you get on and the people that are surrounding you.

☆ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DRINKS. Pregaming with friends? Fun. Being at a party? Fun. Going through pictures the next day? Fun. Remembering your actions throughout the night? Eh. Potentially fun. Being drugged? NOT. FUN. Don't end up getting something slipped in your drink—watch your cup at all times, and don't take the cup from that one cute guy no matter how cute he is, it's really not worth the risk and then you end up being in a hospital bed or worse.

Me and my friends

Having fun is so essential in college , Honestly don't stress too much on school because you'll regret not having fun once you're older and there will be nothing you can do about it , I partied a lot but always made sure school was first so I can have a balance of both.

I'm sure you'll find those incredible people you'll have with , like I did. Remember to always be safe and down it Bitch. 😘

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
