21 Silly But Terrifying Fears That Everyone Must Have Because I Can't Be The Only One

.

1. Spiders

I mean, I just don’t understand how anyone can like spiders in the first place. If I find one in my room, and I lose it before I can kill it, I’m not sleeping in my room for at least three weeks.

2. Ventriloquist dolls

I don’t really know where this fear began. But it’s become so bad, that I cry every time I see one in person.

3. Being alone

Many people fear death, or how they’re going to die. I fear being alone towards the end of my life.

4. Deep bodies of water

Pools, Oceans, Rivers, I don’t care. They’re could be a shark just waiting to grab you.

5. Failure

Success always seems right in my reach. Sometimes, I get scared that I’m just going to miss it.

6. Being unhappy

My happiness is the most important.

7. Rejection

You know when you get turned down so badly, to the point where you just want to crawl in bed, and not be seen ever again? Yeah. I hate that:

8. Heights

Swinging on a swing set, or standing on a roof. Just never a good feeling.

9. Drowning

For some people, this may seem like the dumbest fear. But I can’t swim, so I think it’s pretty fitting.

10. Embarrassment

Something that happens to me daily.

11. Not being able to have kids

If someone tells you that you can’t do, or have something, you want it so much more.

12. The dark

I can deal with it. I just don’t like it.

13. Loving someone who doesn’t love me back

I don’t want to waste my time, like I have in the past.

14. True love

Is it even out there?

15. The future

You know when someone asks you if you could see into your future, would you? I wouldn’t.

16. Pollution

The world is slowly dying. And it’s the scariest thing.

17. Racist people

How can I, and why would I, change who I am?

18. Being buried alive

Even if you somehow managed to claw your way out, you’d run out of air before you could save yourself.

19. Extinction of plants and animals

The world is beautiful. We really don’t deserve it.

20. A bug going in my ear while I’m sleeping at night

Please. Just no.

21. Being kidnapped by a creepy Uber driver

You know right away whether it will be a good uber driver, or a creepy one.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
