Your Intuition Has Something To Tell You Even If You Don't Hear It

So you choose to run away from your conviction and pray for a better future that proves your intuition wrong.

Being intuitive can be both a blessing and a curse at times. Even when you don't know exactly what it is you're feeling, you still know you're sensing something that is yet unspoken or invisible to the eye. It's an unsettling feeling that you can't shake away because on one hand you trust yourself and on the other, you don't want your intuition to tell you things are over or broken before they truly are.

I think that's the biggest issue with intuition --to know that the things you sense will become your reality at some point. So you choose to run away from your conviction and pray for a better future that proves your intuition wrong. I know you can't be the only one who chooses to hide from one of the greatest gifts one can possess, at times I do too.

The issue with this is that intuition becomes weaker as you push it away and ignore it. But you know, it truly never goes away. Intuition always lingers and makes itself feel present in some shape or form. But when you ignore it for too long, it feels like a stranger trying to give you advice. The things you sense through intuition feel uncalled for and strange. Once you lose the trust you have in your intuition, it becomes harder to trust yourself and your gut feeling.

Perhaps, your intuition is your best friend. Perhaps, instead of pushing it away, it might be smarter to develop it further. Perhaps, intuition makes you aware of things and if you paid attention, it would save you from painful events in your future.

It does take a certain amount of skill to master the art of intuition and even though I'm an advocate of using it in your favor, you can choose when to trust it and when not to. Because after all, your intuition is just trying to protect you. Even though that's perfectly fine, you might want to stray away from it at times. Just know that you will always come back to your intuition. Like it or not. Believe it or not. Trust it or not. As a close friend or a stranger. But trust me, it'll manifest itself.

Next time you feel your intuition "talking" to you, listen to it. Because in a way befriending your intuition can be one of the most productive things you do. There's nothing wrong with at least seeing how your intuition can be more of a blessing than a curse. Drink a cup of coffee or tea and analyze what you're feeling and how you're feeling it. Ultimately, you're in charge and your intuition will only serve its purpose if you allow it to, no more no less.

Don't distance yourself from your intuition, it might come in handy someday, even at times you wish your intuition was wrong.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
