Introducing Me
Nikki K

By now, you may have read some of my previous articles, but now I've decided to actually introduce myself. And yes I know, I should have probably written this first, but hey sometimes its more fun to do things a little different. Probably because I'm a little dysfunctional at times, but that's ok because we are all a little dysfunctional at times.

Well, here goes nothing, hi everyone, my name is Nikki. I say that like you had no clue what my name was, but hey, I've been taught in life to always give a formal introduction. I love being a troop leader for the polish scouting organization and being a part of all the different types of activities we do( ie: camping, hiking, and everything else you can think of that you can do outdoors). I love teaching all of my scouts different camping and life skills and being their role model. I also love biology, enough to obtain a degree in it, and that is all I have to say about that so I don't bore you with everything biology.

I also really love makeup (like too much) and reading all different types of books. And I love animals, all types, and I can give you facts on any animal if you ask me too.

Other than that, I love everything about music. So much, that I even taught myself how to play guitar when I graduated high school so I could attempt to make music (even if it sounds horrible). I listen to all types of music because I love all the ways each genre and artist are different. Because like I've said before, everyone likes doing things differently.

I'll be writing about different types of music, different concerts I've been too, and how certain music has affected me or anyone I know in life, and of course how different every genre and musician is.

That's the beauty of music.

That's also the beauty of the world.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
