The start of a new semester signals the start of new stress. With everything going on for us wanna-be adults, it can be hard to keep on top of everything off of memory.

But, of course, Pinterest has swept in to save us from un-DIY'd madness.

Planning has become the new thing, from Passion Planners to Bullet Journals and Happy Planners. There's about a million brands and a billion ideas for each week's spread. But whether you're dropping $40 on a branded planner or $1.50 on a Walmart Steno Pad, there are unlimited ways to organize yourself toward success. Plus, even if planning isn't your thing -- it's hard to not agree there's something satisfying about these beautiful examples of organization.

1. This genius planner hack

With a clear planner insert and your schedule pre-filled in, writing your dry-erase assignments for each week would save you hours of rewriting Eng 220 a thousand times over.

2. This busy bee's adorable doodles!

Even down to the weather for the day. Truly amazing.

3. This amazingly detailed scheduling

There will not be a single thing forgotten or left un-color coded in this genius' week!

4. This beautiful hand-drawn spread

Just casually proving you don't need to drop big bucks on stickers OR on a fancy planner to be well organized

5. This inspirational mission board in a darling geometric style

Because a dream without a plan is just a wish.

6. This simple but effective bullet-point journal

7. This adorably illustrated monthly overview

Because it can be hard to keep up with the month's projections without a Llama doodle.

8. This interesting and geometric way of plotting out your month

9. This bright spread makes us want to invest in all of the floral stickers at Michael's Arts and Crafts

10. This upbeat goals page is, well, #goals

11. This adorable fitness tracker

12. This beautiful way to totally crush midterms

12. This organized way of not letting a paper cost you your sanity

13. A colorful way to avoid the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior 15

14. An easy way to make sure your dorm doesn't end up covered in shame scum anymore

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
