No one wants to go outside when it is too cold. Sometimes, it can get boring sitting indoors with no entertainment. There is always something to do, especially if you have friends. Here are 10 activities to do indoors when it's too chilly to go outside:

1. Sing the lyrics.

This is a fun game! You break up into as many teams you want. Then, you or another individual read out the lyrics from a song but leaves out a few words. Each team gets the chance to guess and whoever gets more correct wins.

2. Read post about zodiac signs.

If you are just sitting around with a couple of friends, look up things about zodiac signs. You can look this up on Pinterest or Facebook. You can laugh at how ridiculous some of the posts are or you can be shocked by their accuracy.

3. Play a board game.

Board games are the best activities ever. You can crush your friends in Monopoly or play a peaceful game of Candyland.

4. Play heads up.

It probably okay to guess that you or some of your friends have cell phones. If not, this game can be bought in stores and is a great activity for the warm indoors.

5. Movie night.

This is the perfect time to get your friends addicted to the same movies and tv shows you watch.

6. Cook.

If cooking and eating food is not fun, then I'm not sure what is. This is a great activity to do as a group inside the dorm buildings.

7. Tell stories.

This can be a fun, indoor activity if you tell scary stories or stories from your childhood. Chances are we all did some hilarious things as children.

8. Swap playlist.

This is a nice way to discover new music. This also helps you connect with you friends more too.

9. Search youtube.

There are so many funny videos on youtube that you and your friends can laugh at for hours.

10. Just talk to each other.

Sometimes, just talking to each other can be a good thing. You probably talk about everything and sometimes that can put you in a good mood.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
