Your support system. You know, the ones that have had your back through thick and thin? Anyone come to mind?

The ones who have been by your side since day one, the ones that continue to support you and everything you do, the ones who accept you for who you are, the ones who help guide you in the right direction, those are the ones you call your support system.

They will love you, no matter what. They will support you, care for you, and be there for you, no matter what you need. They've seen you at your worst and they've seen you at your best. Going from as little as needing someone to pick you up your favorite candy on a bad day, to saving you when you're in a sticky situation, they will be there.

They have your best interests in mind. Sometimes you may not always see eye-to-eye on what they say, but respect that it's coming from a good place. They know what you deserve.

So, imagine what would you be like today if your supporters weren't in your life? Would you be in the same place as you are now? Where would you be without them?

These people, who support you through every obstacle that comes your way, have impacted you in some way or another. They helped shape you into the individual you are today.

The next time you want to show your appreciation for them, tell them what you like about them, pick up their favorite ice cream at the store and have a movie day with them, write them a letter about how important they are to you, show them how much you care. Life is too short to forget to remind your loved ones that you love them.

And thank them. Thank them for giving you advice on what to do next. Thank them for dropping by and saying hi. Thank them for being there for you when you needed it the most. Thank them for showing you what it's like to be cared for. Thank them for always showing you what you deserve. Thank them for believing in you. Thank them for everything.

These are the people that are important. They are the ones that'll stay, so don't let them go.
