This nation was built on immigrants, but we can't just let everyone in, we have to have laws.

Everyone has their own views when it comes to politics, and one of the topics that have been a huge debate is the immigration policy of the United States. Now everyone from every country should come here or to any other country legally. When you try to come here illegally you are in the wrong.

Now the policy has been a big deal until Trump became President, now is this because he had no political experience and was just a businessman or are we still judging him on what he said over 10 years ago. Now I will say some of the things he has put on social media makes no sense at all.

But when it comes to the immigration policies, a lot of people think we should just let them in because the United States is a melting pot of different nationalities. and yes we are but if you are sneaking over the border and coming here and doing nothing to become a citizen then you need to go back.

Stop blaming every little thing on Trump, He has the right to want to secure our borders, and a wall may or may not help, but having this stalemate on this government shut down is not helping. People need to go back and listen to other presidents about what their thoughts were on immigration.

Bill Clinton said "We are a nation of immigrants but we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years. and we must do more to stop it".

People applauded him and thought he was right.

George W. Bush, a Republican. said, "we need to resolve the status of the illegal immigrants who all already in our country without animosity and without amnesty.

This was supported by more Democrats than Republicans, and Bush wanted to push this bill through so he could start the immigration reform, but Congress never put the bill through

Baraka Obama came into office and promising action where his predecessor had fallen short. And in 2012, he issued an executive order deferring deportation for those sometimes called the DREAMers, individuals brought to the U.S. as children. It was called D.A.C.A, an acronym for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. But Obama wanted something more comprehensive than that, something enshrined in law. And he outlined his goals.

But the bill never reached the 60 votes it needed, so the president set out a series of executive orders allowing certain immigrants to stay in the U.S if they Quote "Come out of the Shadows".

And then there is Trump, He said that D.A.C.A would end March 2018 and called for Congress to assess the situation by legislation. Some of them hope to keep DACA intact and wanted a comprehensive overhaul of the immigration reform that has been eluding lawmakers since the Reagan era.

It's sad that with all the presidents we have had, no one has made a difference in immigration reform, we need a better policy in this country, we can't just let people in, and we can't keep separating families. But we need a stronger border wall and more security when it comes to our borders.

People need to stop working against each other and starting working together, or we are going to continue the cycle of letting illegals in and letting them get away with it, and also the drug flow and sex trafficking are getting out of hand. Somethings got to be done, the government needs to get their heads on right and start talking like adults, to make this country better for all.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
