If You Give A Girl A Boyfriend

She'll love your smile, your eyes and even the way your nose crinkles when you laugh.

If You Give A Girl A Boyfriend
Brianna Doonan

When you give a girl a boyfriend, at first, she'll be nervous. She can't help it, but it happens. She'll wonder if her first date outfit is the perfect outfit or if her makeup is set.

Once she is doing being nervous, she'll make you laugh. Whether it be with her corny jokes or terrible puns, she'll make you laugh until you're crying.

After you've spent your time laughing, she'll make you smile. The look on her face when she walks into her favorite store or her face when she sees a puppy will make you light up, too.

Once she can make you smile, she'll start to open up. You will learn about her favorite foods, color, and her happy place. Soon, those will also be your favorite.

Once she is done opening up to you, she'll tell you about her past. She'll tell you about her family, her past lovers and why she is the way she is. All you can do is hold her close and reassure her you won't do the same.

Once you learn about her past, she'll start to fall in love with you. She'll come to love all of your quirks and flaws. She'll love your smile, your eyes and even the way your nose crinkles when you laugh.

When she falls in love with you, she'll fall hard. She'll go to the end of the earth for you. She'll bend every rule and jump through hoops for you. Please, do the same for her.

Because when you give a girl a boyfriend, she'll forever love you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
