An Open Letter To My Big Sister Who Taught Me Everything

Dear Big Sis,

Thank you for always having my back and pushing me to do my best. We always get on each others nerves and fight but seriously, I wouldn't change that for the world. Who else could kick my ass an endless amount of times and always have me come back for more? NO ONE. I strive to be like you. All those years where I bothered you, stole your clothes, make up, and anything else I could get my hands on. Just know that I did that because I wanted to be like you.

I now understand why all the same is being done to me by our little sister, she wants to be like me, she may be a pain in the butt but I know that she is looking up to me. I believe that being the middle sister gives me the advantage, you never saw what a big sister was like or how to be one until I came around, but when it was my turn to be a big sister I had you to look up to. I got to see what it was like to be a big sister and how to be a great one at that. I think our little sister might thank you for showing me the ropes, now that you have moved out I'm all she's got all the time.

Another advantage to being the second child is that I could watch you test the limits with mom and dad, to see what I could and COULDN'T get away with (I definitely tested the limits more than you and the little one will thank me for that). I have always followed in your footsteps, beginning with soccer then track in high school, it was always a competition for us ( At least in my head, but you always beat me). There is one thing that I have that is better than you I have a state championship tittle in soccer and a blanket to prove it (That will never get old).

But again you taught me everything I know and honestly your the reason that I am successful and who I am today. You taught me how to be a good big sister, how to never give up, and how to be the best that i can be. Be bold and be beautiful as always and kick some serious ass in the grown up world, just know I'm always watching and always looking up to you. I just want to say thank you for being you and for being my role model and best friend, I love you!!!
