It's been an interesting summer in the Big Brother house. Who will win the $500,000?

If you don't watch CBS' hit reality game show called Big Brother, here's a brief summary. Big Brother is a show where a group of people we call "house guests" live in a ridiculously nice house that's pretty much isolated from the real world. In addition, they have no access to television, radio or the internet. The house guests are always being monitored by television cameras throughout the house and they each have microphones. They are all competing to win a grand prize of $500,000. How can they win this grand prize? The house guests have to avoid getting evicted during the weekly evictions where the Head of Household nominates two house guests and the rest of the house votes for who they want gone that week. To gain such power in the house, the contestants have to win in the HOH competition. There's also a Power of Veto competition. With the POV, the house guest can use the veto to take one the nominees off the block (including them if they are up for eviction) or keep the nominations the same. They have to figure out who they trust in the house. It's very common that house guests make alliances. Sometimes they last but sometimes they don't. Also the season progresses, there are always twists throughout the game. The motto of the show is "Expect the unexpected." Sounds interesting to you? It airs every summer on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Now here are my favorite moments from the current season!

1. When Victor battled his way back into the house... TWICE

Victor first got the opportunity to battle his way back into the house as he competed against four other houseguests that were evicted before him in a competition. It was a new twist this season. He won competition and it gave him another chance to play the game. As house guests saw him as a threat, he was evicted once again. There was another battle back competition but for the jury members and guess who won again? Victor!

2. Anything that Michelle did

Michelle is definitely one of my favorite house guests this season! She's hilarious and I was pretty sad when she got evicted. She should have campaigned more to stay but I did love her exit. She pretty much said exactly what was on my mind about Nicole.

3. Da'Vonne's reactions

I didn't really like how Day played the game but her reactions are priceless!

4. Paulie's eviction

To even think I was rooting for him in the beginning! He became a little too confident and that's what ultimately led to his demise. It's clear that some Jersey girl definitely hurt him because he always expressed how he doesn't like jersey girls. *rolls eyes* I could go on and on about what else irritated me about it but I'm just gonna leave it at this: It was nice to see him go.

5. Paul just being Paul

Whether he's busy being the secret service for the house or keeping "friendship," Paul is so entertaining to watch. Your boy has made it far in this game! I love his relationship with Victor. They play the game well.

As I reflect on these moments of the season, I can't wait to see who will win. It's been a quite interesting season with all the twists. If you watch the show, who are you rooting for?!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
