Ever wonder what it would be like if fictional characters actually existed in real life? Well if these One Tree Hill characters were real they would have most likely gone to college even for a little while. Will any of them be at your school?

Nathan Scott - UW Madison

Obvious all Wisconsin hometown basketball stars would kill for a spot on the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team, and in the world of "One Tree Hill", Nathan Scott would be the first kid they would recruit. He would shine in the big city of Madison and He would be a big star on and off the court.

Haley James Scott- Madison College

Haley and Nathan have a beautiful son, Jamie, to raise and with Nathan at UW- Madison, the smaller school of Madison College would make it easier for Haley to go to school, be an excellent student, mother, and wife.

Brooke Davis- UW- Whitewater

The social butterfly, Brooke Davis, would excel at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, which is know for it's fun and for it's excellent Business program.

Lucas Scott- UW- Green Bay

Lucas, who wants to play college basketball, would be able to at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Along with the great basketball program there, he would also be able to enjoy the low profile, smaller campus that is known to be very easy going.

(I need to transfer to UW Green Bay ASAP)

Peyton Sawyer- UW- Milwaukee

The creative and edgy Peyton Sawyer would fit in perfectly at UW-Milwaukee. They have an excellent art program and their business program ranks among the best as well. The big city of Milwaukee would expose her to hundreds of opportunities for her to express herself.

Skills Taylor- UW- Oshkosh

Antwon "Skills" Taylor would be an excellent student and basketball player for UW-Oshkosh. Plus his wild side would fit perfect with the "Sloshkosh" reputation.

Marvin McFadden- Marquette

There isn't a better Wisconsin school for Mouth McFadden than Marquette. Their journalism program is one of the best, and he would become an expert in broadcasting, writing, and news reporting. Marquette has some great sports teams as well, so Mouth would never be without his beloved sports.

Chase Adams- UW- Baraboo

Fresh out of high school, Chase Adams hasn't decided on a career path or what he wants to be. UW-Baraboo allows Chase to save some money, get a solid education, and learn more about where he wants to go in life. Chase can also be a "bar manager" in one of the many bars in the new by tourist town, the Wisconsin Dells.

Julian Baker- UW- Eau Claire

UW-Eau Claire has an amazing music and theater program that would allow for the charming and talented Julian Baker to direct and be a part of some memorable school productions.

Quinn James- Concordia University

Quinn has the amazing ability to capture images that tell captivating stories, stories and emotions that move people. This talent would be only enhanced if she was a student at Concordia University, where their photography program is designed for artists like her.

Clay Evans- UW- La Crosse

UW- La Crosse is know for their sports management and business program, which would be a perfect fit for Clay Evans. La Crosse's night life is hands down one of the best in the state, if not the best, and this would allow young Clay to run wild and free before he has to settle down.

Chris Keller-

You think Chris Keller went to college?? Maybe he learned to play from a guitar legend or someone super cool, but Chris Keller doesn't settle down. Chris Keller doesn't pick just one school, or even do what society tells him to do. The only time you would see Chris Keller at a college campus is if he was playing a live show or a mic night at the bars. You can find Chris Keller at all of the Wisconsin universities because let's be real, we have plenty of bars.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
