Senior year is a great thing. From prom, to applying to your dream collage, to finally leaving the place you have hated for 6 years, it is full of many awesome things. If I could go back and repeat senior year, I would.
1. I would pay more attention in math.
Math is very important in college. I wish I had known that then.
2. I would apply for more scholarships.
Because what little money our university gives us doesn't go a long way.
3. I would redo prom.
Don't get me wrong, prom was awesome, but if I could redo it and change everything about it, I totally would.
4. I wouldn't have wasted my time on guys.
I found my best friend in college. All those high school guys were just dumb.
5. I would go to church more.
Moving off to college and not getting to go to my home church really sucks.
6. I would not complain about having to pay $35 for a workbook.
$35 vs. $160? You do the math.
7. I would thank every one of my teachers.
They helped me more than I can ever say.
8. I would cherish every moment I got to march on my high school football field.
I miss marching on W. H. Brown field. Plain and simple.
9. I would get a job.
I need money. Badly.
10. I would cherish and remember every moment of senior year.
I miss it more than I ever thought I would.
High school seniors, cherish these last months of high school. Hug and thank your teachers. They have been there for you every step of the way. Love your friends. You don't know where all of you will head after graduation. Play your heart out whether it be a sport or musical event. Cherish these moments. They go by way too fast.
