"Xoxo, Gossip Girl here", your favorite Gossip Girl characters are headed to college and here's what they're majoring in:

1. Fashion Design/Merchandising – Blair Waldorf

No one knows fashion better than Blair, and she learned from the best, her mother, known fashion designer, Eleanor. From putting together the most up-to-date, trendy outfits to telling others how they should and should not dress, Blair proves time and time again that she is the ultimate fashion expert.

2. Business/Management – Chuck Bass

Chuck likes getting his way, and knows just how to do it. He's innovative, creative and a natural leader. He knows how to manage his way through situations, and he sure knows how to manage money.

3. Political Science – Nate Archibald

By possessing the personality, brains and looks, Nate can persuade any public forum to side with him. He cares about his friends and family, and is always there to help others out in good times and in bad.

4. Public Relations – Serena van der Woodsen

Serena has the name, the looks and the sweetness to turn any bad story into a good one. Everybody knows her and she can get along with almost anyone. Her upbeat spunk and optimism make her perfect for any PR agency.

5. Psychology – Georgina Sparks

She might be crazy, but no one knows people — and how to manipulate them — better than Georgina. When it's down to getting a person to do something, Georgina is the one for the job.

6. Nursing – Dorota

What would Blair have done without her caring and nurturing maid, Dorota? Dorota was always there for Miss Blair, day and night. Her willingness to help others and compassion with her loved ones makes her a perfect nurse to take care of others in need.

7. College Dropout – Jenny Humphrey

Little J had a strong start, but she made some enemies, got in some trouble and applying for colleges wasn't a top priority for her.

8. Education – Vanessa Abrams

Her kindness, patience and ability to be able to handle all types of people makes her a Grade A teacher. Her determination to succeed despite all odds will allow her to help others to do the same.

9. Criminal Justice – Ivy Dickens

By being able to pull off the role as a member of the Rhodes family for so long, Ivy is able to go undercover in any situation and do the task as asked.

10. English/Journalism – Dan Humphrey

There's no question Dan knows how to write. After all, he had all Upper East Siders convinced for years that "Gossip Girl" was a girl and it was none other than Lonely Boy himself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
