Every person has their own unique story, it's just a matter of how and when that story is told that they are able to express themselves. In a world that features people from many walks of life, there is always a story, or an idea that can be expressed. By simply asking a question it can lead to an idea, a conversation, an argument and so much more. By asking a question I was allowed insight into what people are really like, and was able to hear the amazing stories of some amazing people.
What is your definition of a hero?

"To me, a hero is anything or anyone who saves your day. It can literally be anything from friends who save your day by making you laugh, to your parents who save your day by making you feel loved, to your dog who saves your day by making you smile. A hero could even be the person who makes my coffee every morning which saves me from being tired all day. Not all heroes wear capes, right?" -Kerry Moore
Can one person start a movement?

"To say that one person can start a movement is misleading. While it is certainly within the power of one person to spark that sentiment in people to drive them to action, this 'one man can change the world' way of thinking is dismissive of the idea itself, as well as the thousands of people who mobilize in support of it who truly allow the movement to come to life. Influence is a powerful tool, but people who serve as the 'face' of a movement are often not the ones doing the majority of the actual work. This is analysis is not meant to deter people from trying to start a movement, but rather encourage an understanding of the amount of teamwork and cooperation necessary to get anything really worthwhile off the ground, out of one's imagination, and into practice in our society." -Jenna Lawson
What motivates you?

"Sometimes it's difficult for me to push myself out of my comfort zone, but thinking about how I will feel once I've come out on the other side is really motivating. If I'm putting something off or hesitant to do something, I think about how I will feel afterwards. It's such a rewarding feeling to know that I'm capable of doing something that made me really uncomfortable at first. I hold on to that feeling and it motivates me to keep pushing myself to try new things." -Rebecca Buchman
What makes you, you?

"What makes me, me is my positive outlook on life. Growing up I moved from another country and it was really hard for me to adjust with the life here in the United States. Everything here seemed so mesmerizing and was constantly in a state of "awe." But there was always a feeling of insecurity; everything and everyone was so different, adjusting was a real struggle. My parents grew up in a different culture, so they couldn't really understand. One day a light just went off in my tiny brain and I just didn't really care what others thought and it was the best feeling in the world and from that day onwards I looked at the bright side of things and opportunities. We win some and fail some, but success isn't permanent and failure isn't fatal, but our perspective on how we look at things changes everything. So all in all on matter what the situation is keep your head up, take a deep breath, and smile." -Meghana Karkala
If you ran the world, what would be one change you would make?

"The problems that came to mind when I was asked this question would be minimized if human nature was altered. Less jealousy, competition, hate and greed. More compassion, selflessness, love, and empathy. I wish people would stop taking advantage of the weaker individuals around them to fuel their greed. From
family, to friends, to strangers it’s as easy as genuinely treating everyone how you want to be treated. Bystanders should stick up against bullies, whether it’s in a
high school or across an ocean. Bullies come in many different forms: kidnappers, pimps, factory owners, corrupt leaders, etc. We’re taught values early in our lives, pre school is all about sharing and kind words. Why do we grow up and forget these values and let them become over shadowed by greed?" -Alicja Kazmierowska
Even when it feels everything is against you, how do you face life?

"Even when you think the world is against you, it doesn't mean you should ever shy away from a challenge. You need to force your mind and body to go to extremes out of your comfort zone. I also believe that everything happens for a reason, so just because the odds aren't in your favor, doesn't mean you're not going to succeed. And if you don't succeed, consider it a learning experience, as it can only help you in the long run." -Alex Melito
What would be your dream job?

"As a food lover, basically a die hard foodie, my dream job would be a food critic. If i could taste all of the best and most unique foods every day for a living, it wouldn't get much better than that." -Sydney Aspenleiter
Why does history repeat itself?
"It's kind of a paradox, but I believe it is because we base what we do off of experiences. You would think that if something goes wrong, we (humans) wouldn't do it again, but its the opposite. We feel comfortable with things we have seen, which may explain why wars have occurred, and are still occurring, why some politicians with extreme ideas are voted into office, or why revolutions have happened. It's a confusing answer, I know, but I like the way my brain works." -Bradley Heller
Why has our generation become so reliant on social media?

"I think our generation's become so reliant on social media because over the past few years it's become the only way to communicate in so many situations. It's become increasingly difficult to find someone who just wants to catch up over the phone when it's so easy to just look at their Twitter or Facebook to see what's going on in their life so we've become a generation where it's nearly impossible to be social beyond seeing people in person if you don't have social media." -Dilynn Livesey
What is your favorite word in the English language and why?

"My favorite word is heinous because every time I hear it, it reminds me of the opening voice over for Law & Order:
SVU." -Elizabeth Verrastro
