There are a few steps you must do in order to properly prepare yourself for a winter in New England.

Step 1: Look at the weather.

Step 2: Ignore the weather because there's a 99% chance it'll change within the hour.

Step 3: Complain about the weather.

Step 4: Attempt to move on from the unpredictable weather.

Step 5: Go to Dunkin' and get that iced coffee in 20-degree weather.

Step 6: Continue to say how cold you are.

Step 7: Try to think about something else.

Step 8: Turn on the news to see that they're talking about the storm again.

Step 9: Tell yourself you won't go to the grocery store in this madness.

Step 10: Only get the essentials at the grocery store. (AKA, chips and dip)

Step 11: Get in bed and tell yourself you're never leaving.

Step 12: Pray for a snow day from work/school so you can stay in bed longer and eat your chips.

You were thinking the same things.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
