In the spirit of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show tonight, I thought it would be fun to discuss a few tips and tricks that the winged ladies use to make them as bombshell-y as possible.

1. Drink Water.

This should already be plastered in your brain as it is quite essential to just being healthy in general. However, it is extremely important to drink the right amount of water and stay hydrated to efficiently plump your skin and display that classic VS glow.

2. Exfoliate your skin.

Probably the most important step of practically crowning a halo on your head. Not only using one on your face, but using a body exfoliant helps with making your skin smooth and ultimately flawless. Some of my favorites are Origins Modern Friction, First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish, Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub, and Lush Ocean Salt.

3. Face masks as per usual.

This year the Victoria's Secret models sported probably the most luxurious face mask you could think of, a 24K Gold one. The Mimi Luzon Gold Mask is quite luxurious in price as well, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. A newer VS model, Sara Sampaio, wears it above.

4. Moisturize.

This also not at all being a secret, is one of the keys to beautiful skin. A moisturizer branded in France, is one of my new favorites as well as a certain VS model's. Romee Strijd, the covergirl of this article, talks below about Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè, the phenomenal moisturizer that even triples as a cleanser and face mask in one.

5. Don't go too crazy with your makeup.

The selling point of the bombshell look is that it looks fresh and flawless, not cakey and flakey. Some common threads of the angel face are beautiful bronzed cheeks, smudged smokey eyes, and soft pillowy lips. 6. Go with the whole bed head, beach babe hair - it works.

Besides the face and the bod, every angel has the perfect, not-perfect hair. To achieve this look, at least from my perspective, there's a few things you can do. First, when curling your hair, curl to almost the end, but leave out an inch. This way when you run your fingers through it, you get more wavy, less spirally. Then, you need need need a texturizing spray. My all time favorites are Dry Bar Triple Sec 3-in-1, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, and IGK Down & Out Dirty Spray. They just do no wrong. Simply spray them on your roots and fluff your hair as you go for that kittenish, bombshell look.

7. Exercise.

This is probably a no brainer, aside from whole-fully dieting, to achieve the how do you look like that figure. From what I've noticed a lot of the models, do more lean, lengthening exercises like yoga, pilates, and barre, rather than bulking, heavy-lifting exercises. This way your body becomes stronger using your own resistance and body weight, resulting in a toned, admirable physique.

8. Eat healthy.

It will definitely be hard to achieve a health goal if you are feeding yourself otherwise. You don't have to starve yourself, become vegan, or only eat snacks to be healthy. Just know what you're eating and eat in moderation, as well as listen to your body to become more nutritionally aware.

9. Be confident.

If you think the ladies walking down the runway each year are shy and self conscious about their bodies, you are far from true. You cannot seem great to others unless you truly believe it about yourself!

Here's to your own angel wings (or maybe chicken wings- it is Monday)!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
