What do you do when you have two midterms, LSAT studying, crafting for your little, club meetings, and three books to read by Tuesday? Procrastinate of course. And when you procrastinate you stress. Having to write an article about how to procrastinate does not exactly motivate a person to do amazing things, unless you count being a master of fluffing up as something great.

Being a college student comes with its caveats, like not having a social life or in this case doing work at the last minute hoping the professor will give you a decent grade. My dad always tells me how lucky I am to still be in college: no worries, still able to have fun, and I do not have so many responsibilities. WRONG! Just because I am not paying the bills for a house, car, or school, have a job, and taking care of two children does not mean I am not too overwhelmed to procrastinate.

Stressing from procrastinating for too long is all part of the natural order of how to live like a college student. If you have cared to read this far, here are some steps on how to procrastinate properly:

1. Find out when your homework is due

2. Tell yourself that this year you will start to get your homework done on time

3. Get distracted by other work that is due a lot sooner than your other homework that is due later

4. Keep telling yourself that you will eventually get your work done on time

5. Start getting productive and then realize that you are doing something wrong so you have to wait until you can see your teacher and get some help

6. After seeing teacher, forget to study

7. Watch all 7 seasons of 30 Rock on Netflix

8. Go to class and your teacher reminds you that your midterm is coming up next week

9. Start telling yourself that you have to finish reading those seven chapters over the weekend

10. Go to a football game and actually stay for the game

11. Post an Instagram photo of yourself at the game

12. Over sleep the next day after the game

13. Check Facebook when you finally wake up

14. Start watching Netflix again

15. Begin writing an article for the Odyssey on how to procrastinate

16. Go food shopping

17. Attend chapter

18. Start crafting for your little

19. And then finally at 1:00 am begin studying for your midterm (do not worry my midterm is not until Tuesday)

This cycle of Rinse, wash, repeat until the semester is over and you have to go through all over again every semester till you realize it’s time to change or it’s too late.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
