It's finally here! The time we've all been waiting for. Warm weather, no school, friends, and freedom. It's the perfect time to make some memories. How are you going to make this summer count?
Step 1: Take a Trip!
Adventure is the best way to make a memory, so go somewhere you've never been before! It doesn't matter if you can't afford to go on some grand trip. Take the time to visit any place that seems interesting.
Step 2: Do Something That Terrifies You
Go crazy this summer and do something you never thought you would have the courage for. Go skydiving or cliff jumping. Pick something that gets your heart racing and go for it! I promise that you will never forget it.
Step 3: Make Your Summer Soundtrack Real
Pick your favorite artists and go see them in concert. Make sure you get the nosebleed seats so that you can go to more! It doesn't matter if you're in the pit or the lawn, a good concert is something you'll never forget.
Step 4: Don't Act Your Age
Whether you're four or seventy, there are some activities that are just plain fun. So don't worry about being “too old for that”. Go to the zoo, the waterpark, the cartoon movies, and whatever! You're never too old to have good plain fun.
Step 5: Create Your Own Fun
Don't be afraid to be silly. Create your own games, or go find a lake and jump in it. You don't have to have money or a plan to have fun. Get out there and wing it. If your friends are busy make new friends or spend some time with yourself. These memories will stay with you!
So now you have a game plan on how to make this summer a great one, but there is a few things that you can't forget. Don't obsess over the small stuff! Who cares how you look in a bikini or how tired you will be at work in the morning. Remember, these memories have to last you through a whole year. Make them count, and live it up!
