When your alarm clock goes off every Monday morning, you can’t help but scream internally and dread the week ahead. It’s almost like the universe is laughing in your face. Even though you want nothing more than to stay in bed, you have to give yourself the motivation to get up and get going!

Once you've gained the strength to make it to your first class, you think to yourself "oh that wasn't so bad, I can do this..." But! Soon after, approximately five minutes after, your body, mind and soul just wants the weekend so much it hurts.

Tuesday comes around and you totally forgot you have an exam in an hour and are completely screwed and you are now convinced that everyone and everything in the universe is against you.

Considering how you totally forgot about the exam, you also forgot breakfast and then you're that person with your stomach growling throughout the exam. Once the exam is over you pretty much sprint to the dining hall and devour any food you can get your hands on...

Thankfully, after making the mistake of forgetting your first exam of the week, you check your planner to make sure you're not missing anything else...thankfully, you're free from anymore tests or quizzes, but you have homework to complete before your 8 AM in the morning...so it's off to the library to get everything done the right way so you know you can get ahead of things...

Wednesday comes around...only two days until the weekend! Now, you know that you can make it. The worst part of week is in the past and you're ready to move on...that is until you get your exam grades back and then on top of that you get a call from your parents and their first question is "how are your grades?"...

After avoiding awkward questions and changing the topic, it's good to hear that, even though you may hate yourself for being so stressed or not doing well in class, your parents still love you.

So, you're finally feeling good about things and you decide to be in bed before midnight for once. Shortly after, you remember you're in college and 1 a.m. is like 1 p.m. to most people and sleeping through loud shrills and blasting music is almost impossible.

After stuffing your head under the pillow, you manage to fall asleep and Thursday is finally here! I don't know about you, but Friday classes are in the past and Thursdays are the new Fridays! The weekend is so close you can taste it...just a few more classes until freedom.

One class down, one to go! In your last class of the day, your professor also feels the struggle of the weekend being so close and decides to let the class out early!

Finally! The weekend is here...with a little help from Schmidt and some other personal motivational insight, you made it and you're so happy you could cry...

Now, to make it through the weekend without any difficulties...but thinking of that just makes you even more stressed...not to mention, Monday IS only three days away...maybe this "college" thing isn't for everyone.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
