I like to think I know a lot about relationships, but the truth of the matter is, I really don't. One area where I'm not struggling? Ghosting. I've been ghosted PLENTY of times, and I've also ghosted people more than I'd like to admit.

Being ghosted can cause a multitude of feelings for an individual. Sometimes we don't care, while other times it hits us HARD. Here are seventeen thoughts every young woman has running through their mind when someone ghosts them.

1. Wait, am I actually being ghosted?!

I always jump right to denial.

2. Do not send that double text. Do NOT DO IT.

*Sends twenty-three texts without a reply just in case they forgot to text back, just got busy, or didn't have a response to the last twelve*

3. It's only been a day since I've heard back, maybe they just got busy...

I mean, they always made it a priority to text me back before we hooked up but now I'm just thinking they're busy...cause that happens...

4. Will sending them a funny meme make them reply?

Memes are always worth a reply, right?

5. Welp, I've officially texted them three times without a reply...#ProbablyGhosted

Not gonna make me quite give up hope, tho...

6. That's fine, I didn't really like them anyways.

This is always one of my first thoughts. I mean, I totally wasn't just crushing on them or anything...

7. I'm going to text John from Stats and see if he wants to come chill, that'll get this guy off my mind...

Because hooking up with someone else is always a good idea.

8. Back to Tinder I go, I guess.

I've probably spent half of my life swiping on this app...

9. How many cats are too many cats? Asking for a friend cause I'm about to have 20.

Cats are forever. Boys are for never.

10. He isn't worth wasting my alcohol on him but I'm about to take seven shots to get him off my mind.

Cue the girls' night and vodka...

11. *Drunk texts him again because the seven shots made me miss him instead of get over him.*

Are we that surprised this happened?!

12. Time to post a bomb selfie on my story so he'll see what he's missing out on.

*Checks it every four minutes to see if he's viewed it yet...*

13. Hopefully, my siblings end up having kids because I know I'll never make my mom a grandma.

Sorry mom.

14. Throwback to when I thought I'd find the love of my life in college.

This is the BIGGEST joke out there.

15. Yeah, I've for sure been ghosted. It's fine. Totally fine.

Not like it hasn't happened before.

16. *Cries in bed while listening to Taylor Swift.*

Oh Taylor, how you get me in my feels every time...

17. OOO, that boy is cute, I'm gonna hit him up...

And so the cycle continues...

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
