Here's How To Buy A Full Face of Makeup For $25

Buying makeup and researching makeup brands has become one of my hobbies. I watch YouTube tutorials on the latest product releases daily, as routinely as eating my morning bowl of cereal. I have reward cards to every beauty store, from Ulta and Sephora to CVS and Walgreens. As much as I indulge in making expensive purchases on freshly stocked merchandise at high-end stores, I can't help but make comparisons to similar drugstore products. $25 will get you just a Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Sephora, but below I share my tips to get a full face for the low price of $25!

1. Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation, $5.99

This foundation will help you take the best selfies, EVER! It has light-adjusting complex to prevent white cast in photos (no more looking like a ghost! Well, except if you have pale skin like me, and you just have to realize you'll always look ghostly).

2. Rimmel London Kate Sculpting Cosmetic Kit, $6.49

This is the ultimate trio for a nice summer glow: a gorgeous shimmery hightlight, a bronzy contour shade, and a bright pink for added flush. Its all included for ONLY $6.49, too! That knocks out three different types of products all in one easy to use palette. Our total is up to: $12.49.

3. E.l.f. Eyebrow Kit, $3.00

This kit has a wax and a creamy powder to fill in your eyebrows with. I never realized how important eyebrows are in completing your full face look! This is a steal at $3. *I would also double this as an eye-shadow by blending the powder into your crease for some added definition!* Total: $15.49

4. Essence Get Big! Lashes, $3.99

Essence is such an underrated brand in my opinion. The brand is sold at Ulta and it's sooo affordable! I love their eyebrow products, eye-shadows, and their mascaras, like this one here. For $4, it's a nice lengthening mascara that boosts your lashes to be more voluminous in seconds. Total: $19.49

5. Wet N Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick, $4.99

Want to try out matte lipsticks but don't feel like investing in a $20-$30 lip product? Try this incredibly pigmented one from Wet N Wild that will only cost you as much as a meal at Wendy's. This liquid lipstick has a doe foot applicator that scarily mimicks the ones found on Jeffree Star lipsticks, so its like you are getting a Velour Lipstick for more than half the price. Final Total: $24.49!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
