A wise person once said, "Give a woman the right lipstick, and she can conquer the world." They couldn't be more correct. Lipstick lovers can't go a day without being pretty and plump, and when we are, we feel like we can do anything. I counted recently, and I have over 30 tubes of lipstick. My sister counted, and she had over 50. It might sound crazy, but you don't call someone crazy that has a color for every outfit. Lipstick lovers have tubes in their bathroom, their purses, their wallets, their backpacks, sometimes even their cars (if you don't live in Texas, that is). We do not discriminate -- liquid, tube, matte, gloss, bold, bright, or neutral -- the list could go on. Lipstick lovers love it all, though we do have our personal favorites. Here is the best ranked lipstick for those of you interested in dabbling in the lipstick experience:

1. ColourPop: ColourPop liquid lipstick ranks number one easily. Not only does it last all day after one application (not even joking -- I could fall asleep with it on and sleep all night and I wake up with perfect lips), but it is also only $6.00. That's right people -- $6. They have a variety of colors to choose from, but my personal favorite is 'Trap.'

2. Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick: This tops the charts at spot #2, because the colors are extremely bold, and they don't flake. One application and you're good for the day. The only reason this ranks number two is due to the fact that it is $18.00. Get 'Posh Spice' while you can, because it is an overall favorite and always sold out.

3. MAC: This is your basic starter lipstick, but is a great quality. I personally love MAC because of the variety of colors and textures. The only down side is that you might have to apply a few times throughout your day. They range from $17.00-$20.00. Everyone loves the colors 'Velvet Teddy', 'Twig', and 'High Tea.' I love to mix and match 'Film Noir' and 'Honey Love.'

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills: This $20.00 lippie is a new favorite to most. This liquid lipstick comes in 21 shades, and dries very quickly without smudging. In order for it to stick, however, you must make sure your lips are exfoliated. Most really enjoy the color 'Lovely'.

5. Stila: This ranges from somewhere in the $20.00-25.00 range depending on what kind you get. The great thing about Stila is they have lip liners, liquid lipsticks, Plumping Primer, and a Lip Glaze. This brand of cosmetics gives you the full package. My favorite color is 'Caramello,/' and it will typically stay most of the day.

6. Kylie Cosmetics: The infamous Kylie lip kit is worth all the hype. These products are on the more expensive end, being $29.00, but the kit comes with a lip liner and liquid matte lipstick to match. Unfortunately, they are sold out a lot of the time, but a fan favorite is the lip kit titled 'Kristen'.

7. Kat Von D Beauty: This cosmetic brand has a variety of lippies, kits, and even lip/nail polish duos. I personally use Kat Von D's liquid lipstick and I am always satisfied. If you put it on incorrectly, it is hard to take off once it is on though. The prices range from $19.00-$35.00 depending on the buy. I really enjoy 'Lolita II.'

8. Fresh Sugar lip balm: Though this isn't exactly a lipstick to conquer the world in, it is a necessary find. This brand keeps their products natural and nourishing to your lips. The unique thing about the brand Fresh, is that they also have tinted lip treatments that even have SPF included in them. These products range from $24.00-$30.00.

9. Nyx Liquid Suede: This very inexpensive lipstick ($6.99) comes in so many vibrant colors. Unfortunately, this is what I call a "temp lip," because it only sticks to your lips temporarily. Luckily, the lipstick does stain your lips. So, even when it comes off, you still have a tint of what you were originally wearing. A bold fan fav is the color 'Run the World'.

10. Urban Decay: This was one of the first lipsticks I ever started wearing, and I have tried to stay loyal since. This brand is only $17.00 for some very thick textured colors. This brand also doesn't stay as long as I'd like it to, and it also tends to melt more easily than other lipsticks. My personal favorite (with more of a cream texture) is 'Shame.'

11. Lush Bubble gum Lip scrub: Like #8, you wouldn't expect to find this on the list, but it is completely necessary. Most of the lipsticks mentioned above suggest exfoliating your lips first, and for $9.95 you can exfoliate with bubblegum flavored scrub. A deal you can't pass up!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
