We have all been in a situation in which we cannot have a good time. Whether our time is spent alone or with company, sometimes, it’s hard to have a good time.

With so many stresses in this world, many of us have forgotten how to take away what’s on our mind and relax. To do so, I believe it’s important to simply live in the moment. By living in the moment, we can experience life to the fullest and save our worries for work and home.

Living life and enjoying life to the fullest is all about your mindset. By generating optimism and positive thoughts and ideas, you will find it to be much easier to enjoy life. Life throws unexpected surprises to us all the time. We just have to learn how to embrace these changes and live through the ride.

If you are along and find yourself bored in your company, this is a good time to sit or lay down and reflect. Look around and embrace everything you have. Listen, see, observe. The more you silence your mind and become aware, you will experience gratitude in life, no matter how bored you are.

In your own company, you can also learn something new or try to do something creative. Draw, write a poem, express your thoughts, listen to music, dance, sing, create a rap song, be you and enjoy life.

If you have other company around and find you are not enjoying yourself, you can always change that around. Find the things you like about other people and embrace those qualities. If they are talking, really listen to them and what they have to say. Maybe provide insight to their problems or reply with a witty response. Any time spent with another person is never wasted. Everyone you meet always teaches you something.

No matter what situation you are in, the key to having a great time is to push all of your troubles to the back of your mind. Write your worries in a journal and come back to them later. You were meant to spend alone time or time with some or a lot of people for a reason. Learn to listen, see, and observe so you can live in the moment and fulfil every aspect of life-- that way, you won’t be miserable, but will be fully alive and living!

To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before...

One of the things that I love most is space. I am a HUGE space nerd. Literally ask any of my friends. I was first introduced to space when my dad dragged me to see Star Trek. Since walking out of that movie theater in 6th grade, becoming an astronaut hasn't been just some wild dream that could come true.
