Jessica Day is a shining light in the midst of the pessimistic void that we all live in. She has her ridiculous moments, of course, but her overall attitude is something to strive for...even if it's a little quirky. In our small cliques of friends, there is always one Jess. If by the end of this article you are singing to yourself, "Who's that girl (or guy)....it's me!" then it's probably you.
1. You sing to yourself (or just simply aloud) a lot
"Don't tell me music doesn't make a difference because it can."
2. You're extremely awkward when it comes to dating
Sometimes it's more like attempting to date.
3. Or anything romantic in general.
Your friends try to help you as much as possible, but you can never fully help the awkwardness.
4. You know exactly what to say to make someone feel better.
5. But you can also be brutally honest.
Sometimes people need to hear it, and you are one to give it to them.
6. You switch into different voices/characters very quickly, and quite often.
Judy Garland and Elizabeth Bennett are always great go-tos.
7. You find...mature ways to handle situations.
Sometimes that Yelp! account comes in handy.
8. Even if someone wrongs you, you try to give them the benefit of the doubt.
9. You can quote songs, even in serious situations.
"And yes, I did just quote Spice Girls"
10. You don't deny your actions.
It is what it is, ya know?
11. You're the one that is always willing to do something for someone.
Even if it's gross.
12. You trust people.
Sometimes too much.
13. You enjoy the simple joys of life.
Bubbles, puppies in teacups, baby farm animal checks, cupcakes, anything.
14. You're not very good at making decisions.
As a result, you often force the decision-making onto the other people in your group.
15. Despite your nice and sweet disposition, you are secretly one tough cookie.
You're almost like your group's secret weapon.
16. You think you're cool
17. But deep down, you're really insane.
18. Then again, you don't give a crap about what anyone thinks.
Which can be slightly embarrassing for the rest of your friends, but they care about you enough to let you be.
19. And finally, you are surrounded by a group of friends that would do anything for you.
Even if it's humiliating.
