How Spongebob Can Turn A Bad Day Around

We all have those days where is seems like nothing is going our way. We might wake up feeling like a million dollars, but that can change in the blink of an eye. We dread having days where we cannot wait to go to bed and start over, but the truth of the matter is that those days do come once in a while. So, rather than resent those days and make your mood even worse, try finding a way to make it just a little brighter! There is nothing better than a good pick-me-up on a cloudy day, and no one says it better than Spongebob. Some of the best advice about making any day brighter comes from the words of this yellow sponge, so why not take a moment and see what he has to say?

Everyone has those days where they have so much on their mind, only fueling the fire of an already stressful day. Having a lot on your mind can lead to headaches, which only worsens your mood, and makes your day all the more gloomy. However, Spongebob swears that there is an easy fix for this! Find someone who you are close to, and spend a few minutes venting to them! Tell them anything you can, and make sure they are willing to listen until the end. After a meaningful conversation, it will feel as though a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders, and you can go about your day feeling just a little bit better.

Everyone knows that laughter is the best medicine! Even if you laugh at nothing, having that brief moment of joy can brighten up even the darkest of days. Spongebob is always laughing, and you rarely see him in a bad mood! Find the little things throughout your day that make you happy, and embrace them! You might think 26 is actually funnier than 25, but like I said, it doesn't matter what you are laughing at! As long as you are laughing, you can forget about why you were upset for that brief moment in time, but that might be just enough to make your whole day even better!

Spread a little love to the people around you! Even if you are having a bad day, sometimes showing someone you love the can make you feel 10 times better! A little bit of love can go a long way, and making someone else's day can also improve your own! If someone is crying, comfort them and give them that shoulder to cry on for as long as they need it. Then, make them laugh and forget why they were crying in the first place. Love is the best way to flip the switch from sadness to happiness instantaneously, Spongebob swears by it!

Sometimes having a really busy day can leave you in a bad mood in the end. You might go through your day without a moment to sit and breathe, which can lead to high levels of stress, and nobody wants that! So, take a moment and tell someone about your day. Maybe you're having a day where bad things keep happening to you, and you're not sure how much more you can take. Patrick agrees with Spongebob in his first piece of advice, which only emphasizes the fact that getting things off your chest can make you feel so much better. You might encounter negative things from the start of your day and wish to vent to someone about it, so find someone who is willing to listen! Trust me, no matter what story you have to share that day, telling it to someone will leave you feeling so much better!

Even on the days where it seems most dark, keep the positive things in your life at the front of your mind. Never go through your day thinking you cannot accomplish anything, for that will only make you feel even worse. Have confidence in yourself, and keep in mind that you can do anything you set your mind to if you have a little confidence in yourself. So, do not let the darkness of your day envelop your confidence, and use even the slightest bit of positivity to push through any bad situation! According to Spongebob, you really can do anything you set your mind to!

Brightening someone else's day is a great way to brighten your own as well! Just because you might be having a bad day, that is no reason to make someone else feel just as bad as you do. Even if it might not be a holiday or a birthday, tell a friend to have the best day ever because that will make them feel really good! By having a positive effect on someone else, that might be just what you need to feel better about your own day! So, put a smile on your face, and spread positive, contagious energy!

I know I am not alone in saying that the beginning of the week is by far the roughest part. You wake up on Monday after having a really fun weekend and come to the realization that it is time to return to reality. I think everyone feels a slight sense of negativity on Monday, but there is a great way to overcome this: Always look forward to Friday! The feeling you get after leaving your last class on Friday afternoon is irreplaceable, so keep that feeling in mind as you push through your week! Do not let your mind tell you that Friday is a million years away because it will be here before you know it! Keep your head up, and keep one smiling, because it's almost Friday!

Spongebob is more of a genius that a lot of people might think in terms of knowing how to make any day just a little bit brighter. There is not a day that goes by that Spongebob does not find anything funny, and while that may annoy some people, it brightens up the days of others. We all should take some of his advice, put all of the negative things in life behind us, and smile through even the darkest of days.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
