When you are sitting around a dinner table with your friends and the conversation starts to become dull, it is easy to talk about last week's episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Big Brother. Reality tv has become so popular that there are a plethora of channels that have different shows. For instance, Bravo is dedicated to producing insane amount of reality shows. If it were not for channels like Bravo and ABC, our lives would simply be unfulfilled.

Sadly, there are those people in the world that hate reality television. They call it garbage, scripted nonsense. While they might be right at times, they are lying if they don’t admit that they find reality television extremely entertaining. I mean, how are catfights and Kardashian drama boring? There is nothing more exciting than texting your friends after a shocking episode of the Real Housewives or the Bachelor/Bachelorette. So, shout-out to those friends who were right by your side when the nastiest girl fight broke out or your favorite contestant was voted off.

Dear Best Friends,

Thank you for being as obsessed with reality television as me.

Thank you for gathering at one of our houses to watch season premiers and finales.

Thank you for social media stalking our favorite stars and following them all on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

Thank you for naming our groupchat after our favorite reality show and never changing the name for 4+ years.

Thank you for embracing my obsession when I make fan-girl t-shirts.

Thank you for making sure we run into our favorite reality stars when traveling to Los Angeles.

Thank you for planning accordingly when to call into talk shows to get our questions asked on television.

Thank you for tagging me in every meme or article on facebook about reality tv.

Thank you for still sending updates and gossip about our favorite celebrities even when we are miles and miles apart.

Thank you for letting reality tv bond us.

Love always,

Your reality tv obsessed best friend

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
