15 Ways To Change The World In Under $100
Charlsley Carey

Lately, there have been some huge disasters in the world around us. There's an average of 1,253 tornadoes reported in the United States each year, and the majority of them wipe out an entire town/city. Reports show 1,500 African children die daily from Malaria. Hurricane Joaquin came through and caused damage. More than 45 million people in The United States were in poverty and went hungry in 2014. Homeless shelters are growing full and people are being turned away. Presidential candidates are busy making fun of each other rather than trying to better society. People are murdering each other. The world is a mess. I, personally, think there's a little piece in all of us that wants to change the world. So, what's the problem? Money. Not everyone can afford to just take off and go to Africa to feed the children, or not everyone can pay to just rebuild an entire town. So what can you do on a budget?

It doesn't take much to change the world. You don't have to be a superhero with superpowers to better your community and the entire world - you can just simply be yourself. Whether you decide to go across the ocean, or simply across the street, you are changing the world. The world needs people who are motivated and dedicated, that person could be you. Don't be like John Meyer whose waiting on the world to change - get up and change it yourself.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
