If You're Looking To Bring Peace And Happiness Into Your Life, It's Time To Get A Houseplant

Growing houseplants is therapeutic towards your health and wellness, especially during the stressful times we are living in. As someone who indulges in nature, I love having houseplants near my workspace as it allows me to become even more passionate about my work.

According to scientific research, being connected with nature also stimulates a positive mindset and inculcates a thirst for knowledge and creativity. Speaking from personal experience, I realized how much more relaxed and inclined I became towards extending my growth as a student and writer.

If you are mostly inside due to your career or education, then you are probably missing out on spending time outside. But, the most ideal solution is indeed decorating your desk and workplace with a myriad breadth of plants i.e. orchids, cactus, Aloe vera, etc. You can visit this link to explore the diversity of houseplants that have been proven to induce purified air and a rejuvenating ambiance.

When you are surrounded by nature, you can take your mind off of the daily hustle and bustle of your professional and personal life.

Those green leafy plants can literally take your mind off of a serious situation and place you in the "zen" mode. Trust me, many of my friends have expressed their sheer delight towards organizing their place with a whole bunch of plants!

However, don't forget that keeping houseplants does require you to be proactive since you are responsible for nurturing it by watering them and placing them close to sunlight. In other words, when you begin nurturing anything in general, your optimism and dedication towards lifelong goals will simultaneously increase as well. Think about nurturing plants as nurturing a child, both entities require care, affection, and attention in order to thrive and keep you in pleasure mode.

In essence, social connections tend to bloom tremendously when exposed to the incredible beauty of nature. You may find yourself less restrained and fearless from forming new friendships and bonds while caring for houseplants. The "greenery" of life is also another name for nature therapy which we all sure need even more NOW considering the world we are living in.

If you are NOT currently brightening up your home and workspace with houseplants, then you are truly missing out on the sublime happiness of life!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
