I always seem to look around at my life and I can't help but think that there's something missing. You know when you have everything you could ever dream of, but something's still not right? I feel like everyone always has that kind of feeling deep down. We're always searching for answers; I think that's just part of being human. We strive to know everything.
Did you ever have a feeling that there's someone out there made specifically for you? Sometimes I think about that, and that's what keeps me going. I think everyone is just trying to find that one person that will fill the space in their heart. I know I am. As Peyton Sawyer once said, "There are six billion people in this world, six billion souls, and sometimes all you need is one."
I hope one day you're lucky enough to find the person your soul so craves. I hope he/she is everything you ever dreamed of. I hope you find someone to grow old with. Find someone who loves you for the little wrinkles you get in your nose when you laugh. Find someone who shows you off to the world like you're their greatest achievement. Find someone who is worth the fights; fight for them and never give up. I hope one day you stumble upon that one person who will change your life for the better. I hope you find your partner in crime. I hope you find the love of your life in the place you least expect it. I hope you get lost in their eyes when you look at them. I hope you find someone who brings out the real you. Find someone who makes you laugh constantly. Every person deserves to find someone who can mend their broken heart. I hope you find the person your soul has been searching for... I hope you find your other half that you've been missing for so long.
What do I want you may ask? I just want to be loved in the way I love. I want my forever to make me realize that every broken heart I've ever had was just a bump in the road leading to them. I want to fall in love with my best friend. I want someone to love me in ways that I didn't know were even possible. I want to be good enough for someone. I want to love someone so much that I lose myself in them. I want someone to take my heart into their hands and protect it forever. Sometimes I wonder if you're ever really out there...I hope you are. I want to believe in love, because, right now, I don't know if I do; I don't know if it's real. I'm not sure if it's real for me. It's funny how one person can change your world just like that.
Most importantly, though, I hope you find your person within yourself first. My mom always told me, "Never sell yourself short of greatness." Believe with your whole heart that you are good enough to be loved. Never settle for less than you know you truly deserve. Above all, find happiness within yourself before you let someone in. For if you find love and happiness in yourself, you are never truly alone. Audrey Hepburn once said, "For beautiful eyes look for the good in others; For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."
But how do you know if someone is your forever? I guess only time will tell. Because I think not knowing is the greatest thing someone could ever fear. I just hope one day that I'll be lucky enough to find my forever in a day.
