If you don’t know who Honey Boo Boo is, then please continue reading because your life is about to improve. This little girl, who’s a little more grown now, has continued to teach me that everyone is amazing and should know that very fact. Humor and kindness go hand-in-hand, and I will totally admit that Honey Boo Boo is my spirit child.

1. Take a freaking nap.

Naps are necessary, and most people don't take them often enough. It's literally scientifically proven that short naps can improve brain function! TREAT YO' SELF!

2. Have a DANCE PARTY!

If Meredith Grey wasn't proof enough, dancing it out is always an option! Shake out all your frustrations, anxieties, and fears... then go right back to business.

3. Take a trip...to the Dollar $tore!

As long as you don't spend $72 in one trip, you're fine... right?

4. Hype yourself up!

You're amazing. You're intelligent. You're productive. You're everything you need to be right now. You're the best. You're whatever you want to be.

5.Go on a cutting-off-toxic-people spree.

Some people just aren't worth the emotional stress. If your hair has split ends, you trim it. Why not trim off the friENDships that aren't meaningful anymore?

6. Get yo' self some special juice!

Take this as you will, but I'm always down for a Diet Coke. Or a Screwdriver, but hold the orange juice.

7.Go out for a night on the town!

Get your peeps and GO OUT. Go out to dinner. Go out to an arcade. Go play freaking laser tag. Do something fun, and feel a little free!

8.Take a social media break!

Seeing flawless Insta-models day in and out takes a toll on you. Step away from the phone and give yourself (AND YOUR EYES) a much-needed break. Go look at a tree.

9. Give yo' self a spa day!

This gif and this suggestion really speaks for itself. Everyone's "spa" day is different, do whatever that means for you!

10. Take a night to relax... and indulge.

Relax and eat some Jet's Pizza. Or a whole box of Girl Scout Cookies. I'll still love you after, and so will everyone else!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
