We all know how stressful life can get, and pimple pop ups never help!
Between work, school, and having a social life, taking time out to
take care of your skin seems almost impossible. Also, who wants to spend
an arm and a leg just to have a clear face? Nobody! So that's why I want to discuss four steps that I take to make sure I maintain my flawless skin!

The first step is cleansing the face. Black soap is one of my favorite things to use while washing my face. It's pretty inexpensive and can be found in your local beauty supply store. I like to get a nice clean wash cloth and lather it with soap. I work my way around my face in a circular motion for the best results. After doing so, I proceed to rinse all the soap off.

My next step is to exfoliate. If you don't have any specific face scrubs, a good at home alternative is sugar and water! Simply get a spoonful or two of sugar and mix it with a small amount of water. Proceed to then work the paste-like concoction into your skin with your hands in circular motions (I don't do this step daily, maybe twice a week). After doing so, once again, rinse your face and pat dry it.

Next, I like to tone my face with astringent which contains salicylic
acid. This step is extremely quick and easy. Take a cotton ball and
drop enough drops of astringent on it so that its damp but not soaking. Rub the cotton ball on your face, focusing on any problem areas (don't rinse it off). An alternative to astringent is lemon juice! Lemon juice is great for minimizing pores and lightening dark spots.

Finally, after my face has been toned, I like to moisturize with a
dime size amount of cocoa butter lotion. No matter if you have dry or oily skin, keeping your face moisturized is a major key. This will
prevent dry patches!

Hopefully, these tips will help anyone in need of a skin care regime!
Since I've been doing this nightly ritual I've seen a major difference in my skin. Good luck with taking care of your skin my friends!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
