I have never once doubted myself for being a woman. I am capable of anything and everything I want to achieve despite my reproductive organs.
Everyone loves to talk about the oppression of women. They talk about rape culture, objectification, the pay-gap and the role of women in the media and while these are all true issues women face; those issues should not define who we are.
I know I am capable. I know that people will judge me, cat call me, make it seem like my role in society is to stay home and take care of my children but the ignorance of people will not lead me to believe that I am lesser than any other human being.

And Hillary Clinton will not be the face of success for my daughters. My daughters deserve more. They sure as hell do not deserve a president who constantly exploits minorities, women and believes that building a wall will serve as protection and fix our issues as a country. They also do not need a woman who stayed with her husband after he publicly cheated on her with an intern while he was in office as our President of the United States (not to mention those e-mails that everyone loves to discuss.)
Now while her marriage is not a justifiable excuse to diss her—I do NOT want my daughters thinking that it is okay to stay with a significant other who cheated. Better yet not only stay by his side but bring him along for the ride while you prove to the world you might just be the United State's first Woman President.
But while i throw shade at both presidential candidates because I like to exploit both the downfalls of our country’s future—I sure as hell know that my daughters will see success in their mother and other women who have served our country other than making a video with a voice-over of some ridiculous businessman who fills my social media about memes with his toupee.
I want every single woman to know right now that you capable of anything you want. I have never felt oppressed and maybe that’s my ignorance coming into play or my confidence that shines through everything that has been taught to us or even the fail to recognize when people do oppress me because i'm too focused on my end goal—which is understanding that women's issues will never make me fall.
I am worthy and I am equal and I am absolutely sick of women who believe that Hillary will be the face of their future daughters. I can name many other women who have had more significant and impact on our country and she is not one of them. Now while I am incredibly proud that she decided to run for president, her reproductive organs are not a valid or supportive reason to vote for her.
For the future, I will teach my daughters about their self worth as my mother taught me and her mother before. Confidence and open-mindedness will be life lessons that will be engraved in their mind at a young age. I will show them successful woman who have made an impact and they will never be brought down through negative words of ignorance, selfish and downright idiot people. While Hillary might just be our first woman president she will not be the face of success.
So kudos to you, Clinton Campaign. I’m counting down the days to see who the better of the two evils wins for the face of our country. Thank you for misrepresenting the face of women with your video but I know where I stand. She will not fall.
