That's Right, I'm Still In My 'High School Relationship' 4 Years AFTER High School

Everyone always used to tell me that high school relationships never last.

They used to say that you need to grow into being your own person before you can have a serious committed relationship.

Well here I am, over four years later, and I am still just as much my own person and I’ve grown into that person with so much help from my significant other.

He is strong when I am weak and he always cheers me up when I feel blue. It’s funny to think about all the trials and tribulations we’ve been through. We’ve had arguments like any couple does, but in the end, we always come back to each other with a stronger bond than before.

We have a larger realization that we wouldn’t be happy without each other, we wouldn’t have our best friend around to joke with, we wouldn’t have the person we love around to give us a hug when things don’t go our way.

At one point, we had a very juvenile type of love, we would stay tenth-period to hold hands and talk about our day, we would kiss before we got on the bus, and we were both awkward and nervous.

But our love has grown with us and I couldn’t be happier that I found the person that I hope to spend the rest of my life with in high school.

Our relationship hasn’t gotten boring and we don’t get sick of each other... Even though we know pretty much everything about each other.

When I see him, I still get butterflies in my stomach and think about how lucky I am to have him in my life. I never would’ve guessed that I would find someone I love so much in high school and I didn’t expect it to last. But, it did, and I am more than excited for our future.

Whatever comes our way I know we will be able to handle, whatever decisions that need to be made, we will make them together.

So, high school relationships can last, and if it’s meant to be, they will stick it out with you through everything and you will love them even more for it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
