Every city has itās hidden treasures that really captures the spirit of the locals. In a recent visit to Toronto, I discovered Graffiti Alley; a small backstreet abundant with art from locals whose cumulative work transformed an otherwise unscrupulous alley into a vibrant attraction. Located a block south of Queen Street West between Portland Street and Spadina Avenue, the hidden nook of Graffiti Alley has a special charm that truly inspires creativity into those who traipse through it.
These artists' ability to transform a dingy alleyway into a collective work of art is incredible, and well worth a visit in the event you ever find yourself in need of a refreshing change of pace from the more traditional attractions in Toronto.
