Tomi Lahren, a so called 'political commentator' is the epitome of the word shameful. Her nationwide web fame is used as a platform to enforce her systematic privilege in the form of hateful words. You could not pay me a million dollars to sit down with her and try to have an intellectual conversation and here is why:
Given your vast audience and millions of video shares on Facebook it is no doubt that you have power. Your conservative thoughts on politics are rooted within our fu*&ed up system and honestly, if you were an uninformed thirteen-year-old that would be acceptable. But you aren't and this is why you bring shame to females and the United States. Instead of using your platform to intelligently and gracefully explain your political views, you spit words such as 'failure' and 'be a leader, somewhat' in reference to President Obama.
Let's take a step back and look at a respectable political commentator, Rachel Maddow. Time and time again she delves deep into both our political flaws and successes. Her words stem from knowledge and honorable intention. She welcomes conversation, while Tomi Lahren spits her opinion and signs off.
Tomi is a republican who supports Donald Trump, not so shocking anymore given her own unseemly outbursts. America is a democracy and we are all free to cast our votes for whomever we see fit. However, in complete honesty, any female to support Donald Trump is a step backwards for equality. Does Tomi not read the news or watch the press conferences? Does she not see that he is a chauvinist who will have no problem ripping away our rights as soon as he enters the Oval Office? I mean all we are are fat pigs and slobs, right Mr. Trump?
Reality check, Tomi. I never want to separate women because together we are stronger. But it is your 'passionate rants' that take us back to a time when we were nothing but household dolls. Be a role model for young women. You have a rare platform. Maybe you should think about using it in a more patriotic way.
