This is for all of those boys and girls that never made it in to choir. Always were the drummer when you played Rock Band. And to those who can't hit every note, but never let it stop them from belting out their favorite songs.

1. You've never met a karaoke night you didn't love.

No matter your preferred genre, you go up there guns blazing and rock the socks off of any one in the room.

2. Your shower is lucky it gets to be the stage to your concerts.

The shampoo bottle is even luckier to be your microphone. Those acoustics though, am I right?

3. Car rides are blessed by your 6-hour sing-alongs.

You might get horse 3 hours into it, but you've never heard a complaint from your trusty ride.

4. Soundtracks brag to one another when you sing their songs.

Disney soundtracks are honored you've memorized them and the broadway play soundtracks are jealous. Spread the love.

5. The Happy Birthday song needs your flat notes to give it character.

What birthday party wouldn't be complete without a pitchy, off key, song before the cake. You've come in clutch more times than you know.

6. Concerts are where you truly shine.

The music drowns out everything and you can wail at the top of your lungs the entire time. Nothing better.

7. Your appreciation for live music means so much.

You see the talent and gift this person was given and respect it infinitely. That shows true character.

8. Other shoppers admire you belting out your favorite songs as you peruse the aisles.

You're in PetSmart and "your song" comes on, you must belt it out. Your dog is giving you a cute lil head tilt, some parakeet it chirping along with you, and every animal lover in the store is simply all about it, and you, because you're amazing.

9. Your loyalty to your favorite artist is the best things about you.

No matter where you are, who you're with, or what you're doing, when you hear that one band a fire lights in your soul–and you don't dare put it out.

10. Your American Idol tryout would stand out to viewers more than the winner's.

I'm not saying you're as bad as the lady that just screamed the entire time, but anyone that knows you, knows this statement is true. Your try out would be memorable to say the least, but isn't that what everyone is aiming for?

11. Honestly, your voice is beautiful. Keep doin' you.

Some call bad singing a flaw, but you know it's what makes you, you. So you embrace it and sing as proudly as you can, and that's something I can get behind 100%.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
